East and North Midlands

Each region is represented on Community Pharmacy England by an elected Regional Representative. The Regional Representative is responsible for representing the views and interests of contractors and LPCs in the Region on Community Pharmacy England.

Lindsey Fairbrother is the CPE East and North Midlands Regional Representative.

Lindsey is an independent contractor in Derbyshire and has owned her own business for more than 10 years. As an independent prescriber she also provides a travel clinic and private services. Lindsey works at the sharp end in pharmacy but also spends some of her time on LPC business, engaged by Shropshire LPC to support the Committee, and as a contractor elected to Derbyshire LPC. Lindsey has had a wide range of roles across the community pharmacy sector, including in service development and wholesale as well as a PCN lead. She has also spent time as a non-executive on the Board of South Staffordshire PCT.

Lindsey is particularly keen on developing future professionals and has acted as pre-reg tutor, apprentice tutor and designated prescribing practitioner to help qualify pharmacist independent prescribers. Although practising in Derbyshire, Lindsey has a good knowledge of the whole of the Region, having qualified in Nottingham, living in Staffordshire and working in Shropshire.
